Gojek has announced its exit from Vietnam starting September 16, 2024, after six years of operation. The decision is part of parent company GoTo’s strategy to streamline business operations, with Vietnam contributing less than 1% of GoTo’s total transactions. Gojek’s services in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and neighboring provinces will cease, following a similar exit from Thailand in 2021. The company will focus on its home market of Indonesia and Singapore, where it continues to grow.
