Vietnam’s rice exports reached $3.85 billion in the first eight months of 2024, with 6.16 million tons shipped. This marks a 5.9% increase in volume and a 21.7% rise in value compared to the same period last year. The average export price grew by 14.8%, to $625 per ton, while domestic rice prices in the Mekong Delta remained stable.
